"Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'" Matthew 9:37-38 NKJV

The Paw Paw Harvesters Pathfinder Club is part of a world-wide, co-ed scouting type organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Pathfindering offers a wide range of learning experiences for young people aged 10 to 16, and leadership mentoring for young people 16 and up.  Activities include community service, camping, crafts, classwork, drilling and marching, Bible study, Church history, and leadership training.

What is a Pathfinder?

Pathfinders is a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious background are welcome and are encouraged to join the organization. Pathfinders is a coed club for boys and girls ages 10-18.  Activities encourage a range from community/civic service projects in their community and across the globe to nature and environmental conservation studies to camping and high adventure trips. Pathfindering challenges the unique talents of each member. Pathfindering is built on an age-specific curriculum of six levels along with approximately 350 specialized skill development topics covering arts and crafts, aquatics, nature, household arts, recreation, spiritual development, health, and vocational training. These often serve as a launching point for lifetime careers or hobbies.

Can I join the Club?

Any young person, who is in grades 5 - 12, who chooses to live by the Pathfinder Pledge and Law (below), are welcome to join our club at any time, although August is the best time to join as classwork is completed September through May.  Find out more information by contacting our club Director, or the church office (269.657.5051), or visit one of our scheduled meetings.  Our church calendar has all club events listed.
